"Worldwide Brands Goes To China"

Do you ever wonder where your Competition gets those low wholesale prices?

There are lots of reasons why you may find a competitor from time to time, selling the same products that you're selling, but for a lower price. Many times it just appears that they're getting better pricing, when they're really just marking up their shipping, selling closeouts that are not in good condition, cutting their own profit margins to the bone just to get their name out there, using a product as a "loss leader" in order to put a customer in front of their more expensive products....the list goes on, folks. That's business. As long as you're working with GENUINE wholesale suppliers, you're getting about the same wholesale prices as everybody else. Most of the rest is just smoke and mirrors (retail selling strategies). We talk about that kind of thing in great detail on our web site.

Sometimes, though, you run into a small business that seems to be able to sell at impossibly low prices consistently. When you see that, you may be seeing someone who's directly sourcing their products overseas.

Brad Fallon, for example, is doing just that. One year ago, he opened MyWeddingFavors.com, using a drop shipper he found in our Drop Ship Source Directory. After he had saved some of his initial profits, he began to buy products from his wholesaler in bigger bulk loads. Then, he made connections in China, and startedimporting container loads of wedding favors directly from the Chinese manufacturers. Brad made 1.2 million dollars in sales in his first year as a result.

This is a prime example of starting out right, working your way into a good profit base, and then expanding your Product Sourcing.

You're going to notice that Worldwide Brands is really buzzing about China this week. It's a Segment on the Entrepreneur Magazine EBiz Radio Show (which we host), we've just sent out a Customer Update containing info on it, and this Newsletter Article is talking about it.

Why? Because our Business Development Director, Rob Cowie, is going to China with Brad Fallon in a few weeks.

Why would Rob do that? Because Worldwide Brands is expanding yet again. We will soon be a direct Importer of several high quality, yet extremely inexpensive product lines from China. We'll be making those directly imported products available in small bulk loads at incredible wholesale prices to our active Directory owners through a new section of our web site.

We'll be taking cases of products directly off shipping containers here at our facility, inspecting them, slapping shipping labels on them, and sending them directly to our Members who choose to order them, if you find that we have imported products you're interested in. That kind of simple import-and-transfer operation enables us to bring you some truly incredible wholesale prices, since it's so easy for us to do once we've made the right connections in China.

 That, however, is a couple of months down the road, and we'll let you know when we launch that new aspect of our business. This new area of our business in no way takes the place of or devalues our existing Directories. Our Drop Ship Source and Light Bulk Wholesale Directories are the core of our company, and will never go away or lose their incredible value (Brad Fallon can testify to that value!). We are primarily an Information Researcher and provider, and always will be. In fact, we're hiring more Researchers right now to help us handle the tremendous influx of thousands of new Suppliers we've found by traveling the US to all the biggest Wholesale Trade Shows this month. So, get ready to see a huge stream of newly qualified Drop Ship and Light Bulk wholesale suppliers beginning to show up in the Directories! The Directories already cover more than TWO MILLION different products from thousands of legitimate wholesalers, and we're expecting that number to double in the coming months!

 There's no way we could possibly import anywhere near that kind of product range. Direct Importing is simply another way that Worldwide Brands can help our Directory Members to get the best wholesale prices on certain select products that we choose to import.

Our trip to China is being hosted by Brad Fallon himself, who already regularly imports products in bulk directly from China. He has all the connections, and is introducing us to those connections.

He also has room for a few more people on this trip! No, Worldwide Brands has not gone into the Travel Agent business as well. :o)

The cost per person for the trip is just under $10,000. Yes, that's ten thousand dollars. That's what we are paying to allow Rob to go. The trip, though, is all-inclusive. It covers airfare, hotel, access to the incredible trade shows we'll be attending, food, local transportation, and well, just everything. That's what all-inclusive means. :o) It also includes a personal Translator for each person in the group, and introductions to Brad Fallon's own Buying/Shipping Agents in China.
